Family entrepreneurship in agriculture and agribusiness & sustainable land management
The ambition of the Alliance Agri Avenir Chair is to contribute to enhancing and perpetuating family entrepreneurship in order to company the evolution of the agricultural and agri-food sectors in their transition to sustainable territories.
At the heart of the subject, 4 questions:
- What is the future of family entrepreneurship in agriculture and agri-food?
- What are the different levers of sustainability ans sustainable growth of this entrepreunarial model in these two sectors?
- What is the place of technological innovation in sustainability and what are the processes that stimulate this innovation?
- What is the role of the local authorities in the sustainability and durability of family entrepreneurship in agriculture and agri-food?
Objectives of the Chair
To identify and study the factors of sustainability and growth of family busines in the agricultural and agri-food sectors in a context where innovation and entrepreneurship promote the making of sustainable territories.
Areas of research
- Transmission and takeover: Rules and law, processes, levers and brakes, intergenerational trust, family framework or not ;
- Innovation and subsidiaries: New agricultural practices, innovative production and marketing models, collaborative innovations, the role of digital technology;
- Organization and territories: Role of organizations, sectors and local authorities, support resources and measures, territorial anchoring.
How is this done?
A multi-actor collaborative space for reflection and creation of knowledge, innovation and dissemination of knowledge, construction of decision support tools and advice for all economic actors in the agricultural and agri-food sectors.
